Later we discovered 3d printing and got our hands on a trial version of a CAD program. This was 2002 and 3d printing resolution was poor and expensive, but the future potential was obvious.
In 2004, I moved out of the state and for a brief time Xmarx was closed. A year or so later, once I got settled and with the blessing of my friend, I reopened Xmarx alone.
All of that to say Xmarx is a one-man show. My name is Brian. I am a middle aged balding nerd who enjoys hiding in his basement playing with little plastic toys…
Thank you for your interest in my models, I'm always eager to find ways to improve my work so constructive criticism is always welcome.
I have a standing policy that if someone shares an idea with me that I use, then the first casting of the model is theirs free. The Armored train, Subterranean hanger, LRM Turret and Falcons Eyrie were customer submissions.
If you have an idea for something you'd like to see, I want to hear about it.
Thank you again,
Brian
